Puerto Rico, America’s greatest kept secret, with sandy white beaches, amazing Caribbean Weather, and beautifully restored historical sites.  The Island is broken up into regions; Old San Juan and the Metro Area, where you can see the history come alive from where the Spanish Soldiers kept vigil to the large Fortresses and the magnificent Churches that date back into the 1800’s, Old San Juan is an amazing Walled City.  Porta del Sol in the West which consist of Quebradillas, Isabela, San Sebastián, Moca, Aguadilla, Aguada, Rincón, Añasco, Mayagüez, Las Marías, Maricao, Hormigueros, San Germán, Sábana Grande, Guánica, Lajas and Cabo Rojo.Porta del Sol.  These areas have amazing villas that span the shores, from towering beautiful new homes to beautifully restored mansions, this area is rich with culture, history and beautiful beaches.  Porta Caribe in the South, is where you will find Ponce, Patillas, Arroyo, Guayama, Salinas, Aibonito, Coamo, Santa Isabel, Juana Diaz, Villalba, Jayuya, Peñuelas, Guayanilla, Adjuntas and Yuaco.  These areas are rich with local culture, visit the small waterside towns or the beautiful museums in the cities.  It is truly a gem to visit and something you don’t want to miss out on. 

On the East you have Vieques and Culebra, has all the richness of the Traveler would enjoy from Golf Courses to Airports and World Class Attractions.  These Islands are perfect for those looking to venture out and do something different, discovering rain forests or wildlife and sunbathing on it’s beautiful beaches of Fajardo and Flamenco.

The Central Region, which is mountainous, is perfect for those who love to hike.  Take a tour guide out and experience some of the most breathtaking natural wonders.  Bring your camera, there are things here that you may never see again. 

The North Region is known for being the center of the Industries sections, such as the Cattle, Pharmaceuticals, and various local industries.  This area ranges from mountainous regions to the oceans shores.  No matter which way you travel you will always see something new.

Remember that if you are an American you do not need a passport, but it may be a good idea to take at least 2 forms of ID.  Also, remember that this area falls into the Region of Islands that during the summer may be hit by storms.  So, be careful when deciding on your dates, and if traveling internationally please take out travelers insurance.
